What's the difference between lyophilized powder and pre-mixed solutions?

Lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder is the peptide in its dry, stable form inside a sealed vial. It's shelf-stable and must be reconstituted with bacteriostatic water before use. It ships at room temperature and stores in the freezer until you're ready to use it.

Pre-mixed (reconstituted) solutions are peptides that have already been prepared in bacteriostatic water and are ready for immediate use. Because they're in liquid form, they require refrigeration and ship cold. Pre-mixed products cost more because reconstitution is a hands-on process that takes time and materials — see the reconstitution question below for details on what's involved.

What is reconstitution and why does it cost more to buy pre-mixed?

Reconstitution is the process of adding bacteriostatic water to a lyophilized peptide vial to create a liquid solution ready for use. It sounds simple, but done properly it takes the right materials and attention to detail.

For our pre-mixed products, we use Pfizer Hospira bacteriostatic water and sterile filter every batch through a 0.22 micron filter into a new sealed vial as a final quality step. The materials alone add up — pharmaceutical-grade water, syringe filters, sterile vials, and mixing supplies all factor into the cost. The pre-mixed premium reflects that process, not a markup on the peptide itself.

If you choose to reconstitute lyophilized powder yourself, here's what you'll need:

  • Bacteriostatic water
  • Mixing syringe (3mL or 5mL)
  • Alcohol swabs
  • 0.22 micron syringe filter
  • Sterile empty vial
  • Insulin syringes (for drawing from the finished vial)

For supplies, we recommend PeptideTest.com — they carry everything you need and ship quickly.

How do I read the vial labels?

Every vial has a label that tells you exactly what's inside. The layout is slightly different depending on whether it's a lyophilized or pre-mixed product.

Lyophilized Label

Annotated lyophilized vial label

1. Lot Number — Batch identifier for traceability. This matches the lot number on the Certificate of Analysis on our lab reports page.
2. For Research Use Only — Required legal designation on all products.
3. Compound Name — The peptide in the vial.
4. Dosage — Total peptide content in the vial, in milligrams (mg).
5. Product Form — "Lyophilized" means the peptide is in freeze-dried powder form and needs to be reconstituted with bacteriostatic water before use.

Pre-Mixed Label

Annotated pre-mixed vial label

1. Reconstitution Date — The date this vial was prepared.
2. Lot Number — Batch identifier that matches the COA on our lab reports page.
3. For Research Use Only — Required legal designation on all products.
4. Compound Name — The peptide in the vial.
5. Dosage — Total peptide content in the vial, in milligrams (mg).
6. Concentration Ratio — How much product you're drawing with a standard insulin syringe.

Understanding the concentration ratio

A standard insulin syringe holds 1mL of liquid, marked as 100 units. When a label reads 10u = 1mg, drawing to the 10 mark on the syringe gives you 1mg of the compound. Some compounds are measured in micrograms (mcg) instead of milligrams (mg) — 1,000 mcg equals 1mg. Always check the label on the specific vial you're working with, as the concentration ratio varies by product.

Testing & Purity
How are your products tested?

Every batch is tested after we receive it at Vanguard Laboratory, an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited lab based in Olympia, WA. That distinction matters: most vendors in this space show you a certificate paid for by the overseas manufacturer, on a sample the manufacturer chose to submit. We test our own inventory, on our own dime, before a single order ships. If it doesn't pass, it doesn't go out.

Testing covers purity and concentration verification at a minimum. Select products also receive endotoxin screening.

Can I see the test results?

Yes. Every COA is published on our Lab Reports page. Look up your product and verify the results yourself. If you have questions about a specific result, reach out and we'll walk you through it.

Ordering & Payment
How does payment work?

We use an invoice-based payment system. When you place an order, you won't enter payment information at checkout. Instead, you'll receive an invoice by email and text shortly after your order is submitted. Pay through the link in that message and we'll process your order once payment clears. Returning members with a card on file are charged automatically — no invoice needed.

How long does it take to receive an invoice?

Invoices are sent within a few minutes of your order being placed during business hours. If you place an order outside of business hours, you'll receive it the following morning.

Shipping & Delivery
What are my shipping options?

Lyophilized products are shelf-stable and ship via UPS. Most Southern California addresses receive UPS Ground orders the next business day. Expedited options are available at checkout. Pre-mixed solutions require cold-chain handling and ship refrigerated with ice packs and insulated packaging. Full details and delivery area information are on our Shipping & Delivery page.

Do pre-mixed products ship safely via UPS?

Yes. Pre-mixed orders ship refrigerated in insulated packaging with ice packs. For most Southern California addresses, UPS Ground delivers the next business day, which keeps the cold chain intact for the transit window. For addresses outside Southern California or in warmer climates, we recommend selecting a faster shipping option to minimize transit time.

What if I order both lyophilized and pre-mixed products?

Both ship together in cold-chain packaging. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and the products in your order.

Research Use
What does "Research Use Only" mean?

All products sold by Everform Life are intended strictly for in-vitro research, laboratory use, and educational purposes. They are not approved for human or animal consumption. This is a legal and regulatory requirement that applies to all research peptide suppliers and is a condition of membership.

Can you help me with dosing or protocols?

No. We can answer questions about product specifications, storage, and ordering, but dosing and protocol guidance is outside what we can provide. A few solid third-party resources: Pep-pedia.org is probably the best single reference for compound and protocol information. Reddit communities like r/peptides, r/retatrutide, and r/bodyhackguide are active and useful. For published research, PubMed is the standard. We don't endorse any specific content on these platforms, but they're good starting points.

Returns & Refunds
What's your return and refund policy?

Our full policy is available here. If you have a concern about a specific order or product, contact us directly and we'll work through it with you.

How do I get in touch?

Email is the fastest way to reach us. We're generally available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Pacific. For complex issues like refunds, quality concerns, or anything outside of normal support, we'll escalate directly to management.
